Meeting
"Applied Fiber and Plaster Wall Art"
Instructor: Shea Vickery
Saturday, January 23
, 2010
10am - 2:30pm
10 - 10:30am - Business Meeting
10:30am - Program Starts
at the Spruill Center
Using plaster, burlap and your imagination, Shea will guide you on your artistic journey to create what one can only say, is an art piece for the senses. We will use a bit of faux finish technique and a bit of applied art skills to press plaster into fabric, and then, with artist pallet knives, create free form trees on top using more plaster. This application is used as a wall finish, but thinking outside the box, would be a great framed art piece, as well. Come join us for what will be a great kick off to a banner year!.
Please RSVP by January 15th to Diana Shupe at dianashupe@bellsouth.net
